Mike Huckabee raised taxes half a billion dollars in Arkansas. I have friends who lived in Arkansas when Mike Huckabee was Governor, They said that he kept increasing Government and raising taxes. According to Phyllis Schlafly he ruined that state.

Harry,

Could you provide a documentation of your claim? So far you have opinion and conjecture. Few people will read your comment and think, "Harry said that Phyllis Schlafly said Huckabee ruined Arkansas, I better stop supporting him."

I say none of this with animosity or satire. You're essentially calling Huckabee a liar and you point to no solid evidence to justify doing so. That's unwise.

You need to do a little more research before you go supporting anybody.

And you also need to watch the "Meet the press interview"
Mike Huckabee couldn't even say homosexuality is sin. Studies have been done that if Mike Huckabee got into office he would bankrupt this country.

Ron Paul has NEVER voted to raise taxes.

Welcome, all you depressed Ron Paul supporters. Why don't you go spam somewhere else. All of these attacks have been responded to time and time again here and elsewhere.

Hey Harry,

I'm just curious. Has Ron Paul said homosexuality is a sin? If so, when did he do that? Also, I recall a "Ron Paul friend" of mine saying that he wouldn't ban abortion or same-sex marriage. Are either of those true? Or is he essentially a 10th amendment guy? Huckabee is, so if Ron Paul is as well what would be the problem there?

I'm not sure it's the President's job to say whether or not homosexuality is a sin. I think it's his job to act in the best interest of the country regarding the issues surrounding homosexuality. It's the job of the Church to preach the truth. So if he essentially left the question unanswered, then I have no problem with that.

Ron Paul speaks out against the war and taxes but what about other "moral" issues? Does he speak out against any those? If Huckabee's lack of declaring homosexuality a sin bothers you, does it bother you that Ron Paul doesn't speak out on these issues more?

I still mean no harm, I'm just looking for some consistency from the Ron Paul supporters if I am to switch my support from Mike to Ron.

Jared,

Ron Paul believes that marriage should be left to the Church. He does not want Government inside of marriage telling everyone what they can and can't do.

Ron Paul is Pro-life. He proposed a Constitutional bill in Congress that would define a fetus as being a human being.
That would make Abortion illegal overnight.

If you check out some articles done by Mary Pride, or Phyllis Schlafly There are some really scary things about Huckabee.

He runs on a Unconstitutional platform.
And I am not making it up that he raised taxes half a billion dollars.

Huckabee wants to stay in Iraq which is not the right thing to do. The way things are going now. We are 9 trillion dollars in debt. The federal reserve is printing money.

Also Jared,

Huckabee talks about abolishing the IRS and replacing that with a 30% sales tax.

Ron Paul wants to abolish the IRS and replace it with nothing. And that is possible if we limit our Government and pull out of all 100 countries in.
